There is evidence to suggest that guys are better negotiators. But could it also be said they are more deceitful??
Task in class: Choose five tokens from a bag - tokens consist of different colours with a scoring scheme - the aim is to negotiate with people and to exchange tokens in order to get the highest score - people were grouped according to their scores. ALL the guys in the class were in the highest group and the rest of the class (all gals) were in the other two groups...the catch was once you started negotiating you had to make an exchange regardless of whether the other person had the 'desired' token...the fact is not everyone adhered to this rule....the rest you can decide...
