For the drivers out there...if you're thinking of speeding you might like to reconsider. In a way the change is good but bad depending on how you see it. Be careful especially when driving in school zone!

"Speeding fine and demerit point change"
The penalty for speeding up to 15 km/h over the limit has increased from 2 to 3 demerit points. For light vehicle drivers (eg cars, motorbikes, vans, etc) the fine has been reduced from $130 to $75, while the fine for heavy vehicles drivers remains $199.
3 points also apply for speeding up to 15 km/h over the 40 km/h school bus speed limit.
