The end is nigh

From SMH:

When you've gotta go, you've gotta go - but how, and when? Experts from around the world assess the natural and man-made threats to human survival.

Threats to human survival:
1. super-volcanos - very high
2. Telomere erosion - low
3. Climate change - high
4. Viral pandemic - very high
5. Terrorism - very high
6. Meteorite impact - medium
7. Robots taking over - high
8. Cosmic ray blast - low
9. Swallowed by a black hole - exceedingly low

The end is nigh

Who really knows when the world is going to end or when one's life will end? Freak accidents or nature calls? Things happen so unpredictably - every minute could be the last. Have no idea why this thought came to me...maybe its from the article.

Everyone experiences ups and downs - from happiness to disappointment, bliss to devastation - maybe its from these experiences that we learn to treasure what we have - whether that be family, friends or things/life in general. Take every opportunity, every disappointment as a learning curve - things happen for a reason - usually for the better even if you don't think so at the current moment!

"Carpe Diem" (seize the day)
