My usual conversations with my neighbours last 2 seconds involving the words..hi how are you? good thanks bye...haha
but oddly i had an hour conversation with my 90 year old neighbour outside my house today. or shall it say it was more like she talked and me nodding in acknowledgment...

That is very patient & sweet of you. But I have notice that the festivities often bring out the chattier side of people, especially the elderly, perhaps loniness is the cause?
haha.....i think it is loniness cause she thought noone was home...and she was complaining about the long wait at the doctors. then it become a history lesson into her family - her children, grandchildren and greatchildren. she also talked about her parents too! as well as the shops she usually goes to :)
