Why?

Why is it so hard for me to stay away from the internet? No one else seems to have this problem...its rather un-nerving and frustrating!! Any recommendations? Oh by the way, I've tried switching off the pc, going to another room, unplugging the modem - but there seems to be no successful solution thus far...
